Transport Manager/Sales desk

In 2010 Ashcroft Stone Merchants were pleased to capture the services of Phil.

Utilising his local knowledge and 15 years experience in the building supply chain plus his background in the DIY trade, Phil has embraced his main role as Transport Manager and is responsible for our ever increasing fleet of vehicles - currently 3 - hiab wagons [Bulk bags], 10 - 8 wheelers [20ton], 1 - 4 wheeler [10ton]. Phil will also be your point of contact on the sales desk should you require advice or to simply place an order - give him a call on 01772 42 55 99.

2009, the year of change?

An interesting start to 2009 saw a couple of changes for J&J Ashcroft. Firstly, we said "goodbye" to our Sales Manager, Peter Clough, who covered the North West for over 16 years!

We would all like to wish Peter a long and happy retirement and thank him for his service over the years.

Secondly, we wished a fond farewell to Debbie Baldwin, also with the company 16 years.

After a year on maternity leave, she has decided not to return to work and to concentrate on being 'MUM'.

Please look up our subsidiary company - Ashcroft Engineers Merchants & Distributors, which provides tools, fasteners, fixings, nuts and bolts to the engineering industry and the public, they also stock a wide range of branded items such as Bosch, Hardman, Klingspor, Stanley and WD40 and many more, all of which are available at the above premises.

Our shop is open Monday ~ Friday 8.00am - 5.15pm and Saturday 8.00am ~ 12.00 noon.
